Robert J. Kasieta, Esq. began practicing law in 1983 with a judicial clerkship. He then joined an insurance defense firm and tried dozens of jury trials for civil defendants. After serving as president of that defense firm for several years, Bob left to form his own firm and to begin doing plaintiffs’ work. On August 1, 1997, Bob started Kasieta Legal Group, LLC, a Madison, Wisconsin-based civil trial firm, representing plaintiffs.
Bob has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for many years. He has also had an AV Rating for approximately twenty years. Bob and his firm have won many multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts. In addition, Bob has taught civil trial skills at numerous national webinars and seminars. He has also taught trial advocacy at Wisconsin Law School for many years.
Bob Kasieta is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the Seventh and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. He also assists other counsel with civil trial work in many states, obtaining pro hac vice admission for cases around the country and in Puerto Rico.
In his spare time, Bob enjoys travel, photography, and most of all, working with the not-for-profit Badger Prairie Needs Network, addressing poverty issues in his community.
